Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) and Production and Logistics Engineer from the Technical University of Munich in Germany (TUM), he is currently Managing Director of the Empresa Nacional de Innovación, S.M.E., S.A. Enisa is a public company attached to the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism that promotes the creation, growth and consolidation of Spanish companies, actively participating in the financing of viable and innovative business projects, energizing the venture capital market, through participative loans and promoting business innovation through different collaborations and institutional actions throughout the country. His professional career has mainly been developed in the private sector as an engineer in the areas of R+D+i and production, implementing and managing industrial processes in companies in Spain and Germany between 2007 and 2018, such as General Dynamics, General Electric, Airbus Military and Daimler AG- Mercedes-Benz Car Group. Until October 2018 he held several positions in the Segovia City Council: Economic Development, Employment and Innovation Councillor; Economy and Finance Councillor and Deputy Mayor. Since 2015 he has coordinated the local development and innovation strategy and has promoted several city projects, as well as employment and entrepreneurship policies in the framework of various European programmes.
