Joined Renfe in 1983, various responsibilities in the area of traffic control. 1997-2002: Foundation of the Spanish Railways - Railway Museum, responsibilities of normative nature with historical operational material and international relations, among others. 2002-2005: Manager of Railway Infrastructures (GIF), construction and commissioning of the Madrid-Barcelona LGV, the first with ERTMS in Spain, responsibilities for traffic control and regulation, fee billing and management of the operating plan, among others. 2005-present: Railway Infrastructure Administrator (ADIF): pusta in service of the Lérida-Barcelona section of the Madrid-Barcelona-Figueras High Speed Railway, technical studies, translations, international projects (Morocco, Israel, Saudi Arabia...), certification of the Adif R+D+i management system by the UNE 166002 Standard, creation and management of the technology watch department, Speaker in training courses inside and outside Spain on traffic control systems and high speed, training for Adif staff on R+D+i management, launching of the Railway Technology Centre in Malaga, currently responsible for technological intelligence (strategic surveillance) in Adif.
Doctor in Spanish Philology by the UNED. Master in International Strategic Management by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). Training in technological surveillance and competitive intelligence at CDE, IDEC (Univ. Pompeu Fabra) and UPM.
