The Transfiere Journalism Award is presented as a tool to support Scientific, Technological and Innovative Communication, with the aim of recognising the work carried out by journalists to raise awareness of technological innovation developed in Spain and its convergence at an international level.

Below are the two finalists selected by the jury to compete for the «Public Award» at the 11th “Foro Transfiere” Journalism Awards.

Teresa Arnandis Chinesta

Her professional career began with scientific research and university teaching, but she shifted her focus to science communication. She created a channel called ‘LadyScience’ where she regularly communicates science through traditional media (books, radio, podcasts, television, etc.) and digital media.

Thanks to her training, insatiable curiosity and research experience, she has the ability to convey accurate, rigorous and up-to-date information to the general public on topics ranging from the most innovative inventions and patents to the latest advances and treatments in healthcare, enabling her to achieve an average of 30 million views per month and build a community of more than 1.4 million followers interested in innovation. His slogan is: a well-informed society means freer people.

Antonella Pino d’Astore

Journalist specialising in culture, tourism and innovation, with a career focused on disseminating scientific and technological knowledge applied to society and sustainable development. Throughout her career, she has worked at the intersection of technology, sustainability and territory, analysing how digital innovation transforms key sectors such as tourism, mobility, energy and communication. Through articles, reports and editorial projects, she addresses digital transformation, responsible economics and the social impact of technology with an informative, critical and accessible approach. Her goal is to bring innovation closer to the public and foster an informed, conscious culture oriented towards the common good.
