In this fourteenth edition, Transfiere, which will take place from March 12 to 14, 2025, at FYCMA (Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga), will enhance its multisectoral nature with the prominent presence of sectors such as energy consultancy, infrastructure, engineering, mobility, and companies providing advanced technological services, among others

Transfiere, the European Forum for Science, Technology, and Innovation, will hold its fourteenth edition on March 12, 13, and 14, 2025, at FYCMA (Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga). In this edition, the event will promote the participation of leading national companies involved in I+D+i, reinforcing its role as a fundamental pillar within the Spanish innovation ecosystem.
Additionally, this edition of Transfiere will enhance its multisectoral character, with special attention to sectors such as energy and environmental consultancy, infrastructure, engineering, mobility, and materials. The participation of companies offering specific solutions for public administration will also be highlighted, including providers of advanced technological services such as hardware and software, IT services – information technologies – and telecommunications, as well as those related to technological consultancy. This multidisciplinary approach will enable companies to maintain direct contact with technicians from various national, regional, and local administrations.
Thus, the period for reserving and booking space is now open for companies, universities, and both public and private entities within the R&D&I ecosystem—over 600 of which were represented at the last edition. Interested entities can consult the various participation options through the official website www.forotransfiere.com.
It is worth noting that Transfiere enhances and strengthens the network of actors involved in the national innovation process, creating global synergies that drive technological development and its integration into the productive economy. The event serves as a platform for both the transfer of knowledge from universities to companies and the attraction of the business sector to innovation.
Precisely, the forum annually brings together a wide representation of national and international universities, spin-offs, research groups, and university research institutes—over 60 in 2024. Additionally, the entrepreneurial and investor ecosystem is also present.
Intermediate organizations for innovation and territorial policies.
The presence of intermediate innovation organizations will be key. The ‘Transfiere Tracciona’ initiative, introduced for the first time at the last edition, will continue to promote the role of these innovation organizations in the promotion and transfer of knowledge to improve the innovative competitiveness of the national business fabric.
At the same time, Transfiere serves as a meeting point for the national innovation ecosystem, as the forum brings together and shares various territorial policies related to innovation through the participation of the country’s autonomous communities. These regions access collaboration opportunities with other regions and the private sector, along with the involvement of local governments and provincial councils.
Content and thematic areas.
The content program for Transfiere 2025 will feature a specialized exhibition area, networking spaces, and an extensive schedule of thematic panels and conferences. Open innovation, investment, entrepreneurship, internationalization, funding, and public-private and private-public collaboration will be the central themes of the event, with a focus on the national R&D&I ecosystem.
Among the novelties of this edition, there will be a dedicated space for the ‘National Transfer and Research Awards,’ the most important recognition in Spain for scientific research, organized by the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities. The event will also feature an update on the first Spanish Deep-Tech Strategy, and Transfiere will once again serve as the stage for the RedOTRI Technical Sessions, reinforcing its commitment to knowledge transfer and innovation.
Transfiere is organized by the Málaga City Council; the Ministry of University, Research, and Innovation of the Andalusian Regional Government; and the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities. FYCMA takes on the executive direction of the event.
