ICTS, EDUCATION SECTORS: ESADE Y POLO DE CONTENIDOS DIGITALES

ESADE is a global academic institution known for the quality of its education, its international vision and a clear focus on the holistic development of the individual. It maintains close ties with the business world.

TITLE OF THE CHALLENGE: Defining the Degree of the Future

THE GOAL: With the development of the challenge the aim is to “rethink from scratch” the value chain of a degree programme (BBA): admissions funnel, learning experience and its validation model, as well as the connection to the market (company)

CHALLENGE TYPE: Open

DESCRIPTION:

To define the new decentralised relationship models (emotional and educational) between ESADE and the students of a BBA in the FOUR critical phases of the educational process (admissions process, learning, knowledge validation and link with the labour market) through the use of new tools based on gamification, video games or esports, and whose objective will be to identify, implement and improve the academic experience between the student and ESADE.

Cajamar Innova

AGRI-FOOD SECTOR: CAJAMAR INNOVA

Cajamar Innova is the water high-tech business incubator of Cajamar Foundation and seeks in Transfiere the best projects and start-ups that bring innovative solutions to the water sector.

CHALLENGE TITLE: Finding innovative solutions to tackle water scarcity.

THE GOAL: Water scarcity is one of the great current problems of our planet, which will worsen in the future. Therefore, the need to find innovative solutions is becoming urgent, which in turn represents a great opportunity for entrepreneurs.

WHO THE CHALLENGE IS AIMED AT:

  • Research groups
  • Start-ups
  • Spin-offs

DESCRIPTION: To find disruptive technological innovations with good prospects for market fit.

Different areas of action have been identified to solve the main problems of water scarcity:

  • Improving efficiency in the use of the resource
  • Circular water economy: reuse, regeneration, etc.
  • Generation of the resource: desalination
  • Energy and environment
  • Digitalisation for better water management

PRIZE: Service package valued at €20,000

  1. Coworking space in Cajamar Innova incubator and in Cajamar Experimental Station for 6 months with: workstation with internet access, meeting rooms, space for events, etc.
  2. Access to the Cajamar Experimental Centres for the development and validation of products and services

PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION SECTOR: CEI PATRIMONIO

Campus of International Excellence in Heritage has its origin in 2009, it arises from the strategic aggregation of the ten Andalusian public universities; although from the beginning it has been designed and conceived on the basis of an aggregation model composed of five different types of agents that unite their capacities, strengths and position to achieve the proposed strategic objectives and reach the established vision.

PartrimoniUN10 strategic aggregation configures an ecosystem of knowledge that will bring together training of excellence, competitive and multidisciplinary research and creative transfer to the productive sector and society

TITLE OF THE CHALLENGE:

Campus of International Excellence in Heritage is looking for innovative projects in the field of sustainable heritage tourism to establish collaboration agreements and new initiatives to be developed

THE GOAL: We seek to select innovative projects with high added value created by companies or innovation centres that have a real application on sustainable heritage tourism. The selected projects will be presented at TRANSFIERE to interested companies and knowledge agents. Cooperation and transfer will be encouraged.

Emasa

PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, ENVIRONMENT AND SERVICES SECTORS: EMASA

Integral water cycle management company in Malaga municipality (supply, sanitation and purification).

TITLE OF THE CHALLENGE: Education and awareness in augmented reality

THE GOAL: To bring AquaLab Emasa characters to mobile screens.

WHO THE CHALLENGE IS AIM AT:

  • Start-ups

CHALLENGE TYPE: Open

DESCRIPTION:

Bringing Gotita, Molécula, Vaporio and Kubito to mobile screens, being able to appear in real spaces through augmented reality, proposing games to children in certain significant spaces in the city, making videos with them on TikTok giving advice on how to improve sustainability, etc. After locating in each area a QR located in some element related to the integral water cycle, the protagonists will appear on stage in 3D augmented reality and will give messages related to water. This would be a pilot test in the space where we carry out awareness-raising activities (green passport).
